Meet the face
behind the posts
I have found myself spamming my social media and that isn’t really what I want my social media to be about. Social media is a massive part of our lives and it is here to stay so I though why not start blogging and that way it’s available if someone wants to read and discuss or reflect and if not, it won't be “annoying” them every time they open their socials. It will hopefully allow other families to share their stories with me and engage in conversations that are worth talking about.
I guess I will start with a brief introduction of who I am and what has led me to start this blog.
My name is Brooke, mother to three children aged 14, 10 and 1. Yes big age gap, I thought I was done but that niggling feeling that something was missing crept back in and after 18 months of discussing it wasn’t going anywhere so we had our perfect little George who has completed our family.
I like to think that I’m a person that has had exposure to many different cultures and have a balanced view on the world although since being told our youngest has hearing loss, it has forced us into many unsettling situations and confronting emotions that we as parents and people have had to work through and still working through in a very short 14 months.
I feel they are worth sharing.
